Howdy, howdy! I'm Ace Covey, founder & creator of Mitten Drone Media. Since 2017, I have been utilizing drones and cameras to capture new prospectives throughout West Michigan and the Great Lakes region.

Going full circle from growing up in the small town of Gobles, Michigan to the hustle and bustle of Grand Rapids & Grand Valley State University, and then back to residing in the quiet, lakeside town of Whitehall, Michigan, I’ve found a balance between being community focused in my business and promoting my clients so that they would stand out in any large market (even if their’s is quaint and cozy).
One of my images was published by the Historical Society of Michigan in their magazine publication, “Michigan History.”
When not behind the lens, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring the outdoors with our two kids, and finding a beach to take our two “chonky” corgis to go play at!
You can also find me on a basketball court during the season as I enjoy officiating high school basketball.
When it’s not basketball season, I’m out looking for treasure with my metal detector and helping reunite people with their lost rings and valuables - Swing4TheRing
